The Moselle, the Sauer and the Our where they form the German–Luxembourg border: some 130 km of river, banks included, that belongs to both states at once instead of being divided down the middle. The arrangement dates from the 1816 Treaty of Aachen and was confirmed by treaty in 1984. The map draws it as its own place, striped in both countries' colours.
