The eastern part of the ADF's forest, nearest Uganda. Both operate here, and the map says so: the group's pattern sits beneath the Ugandan army's yellow stripe and dashed yellow edge. It does not mean they share control or fight side by side; they are enemies. This is where Operation Shujaa concentrates: Ugandan and Congolese troops raid ADF camps, and the ADF answers with attacks on villages and roads. Neither holds the ground firmly, and it remains the Congo's.
