The North-West Satrapies in 218 B.C.
The North-West Satrapies — Maurya Empire.
The lands beyond the Indus — Arachosia, Gedrosia and the Paropamisadae — won by Chandragupta from Seleucus Nikator. To the Greeks these are the easternmost satrapies; to Palibothra they are the north-west frontier, the meeting-place of the Hellenistic and Indian worlds.
