The Tolistobogii in 218 B.C.
The Tolistobogii — Galatians.
The Tolistobogii — the western nation of the Gauls, holding the old Phrygian country about Pessinus and Gordion. Theirs is the richest inheritance of the three tribes, for in their land stands the great sanctuary of Cybele the Mother of the Gods, the holiest place in all Galatia. They led the crossing into Asia and keep, like their kin, four tetrarchies and a share in the council at Drynemeton.
