The Senones — Celtic Tribes.

A people of the upper Sequana and the Icauna, holding the country about Agedincum. They are the kindred of those Senones who, in the old days, poured over the Alps into Italy, took the Roman field and burned Rome itself — a deed never forgotten in the city by the Tiber.
