Keos — Aetolian League › The Isopolity Members.
The Cycladic island of Keos, far out in the Aegean, bound to the league not by conquest but by isopoliteia — a grant of shared Aetolian citizenship. Its four little cities are thus reckoned Aetolian, a measure of how the league spun its influence across the sea by treaty.
